The Cactus Cuties are so blessed to have each other to lean on during the hard times and to laugh with during the good times! Â The Cuties did a lot of laughing during their very first taffy pull. Â Cami got the Cuties together and arranged to have Aunt Terri teach the Cuties how to make taffy from scratch!!!! Â The Cuties discovered taffy making is a very delicate process. Â The first batch of butter pecan flavored taffy turned out to be overdone and looked more like brittle than taffy! Â The second batch, which was vanilla flavored, was undercooked and much too soft! Â The Cuties weren’t sure if they would ever get it right, but they tried one last time and the third time was the charm!!! Â The last batch turned out beautifully, and the Cuties were so excited to have homemade cherry taffy to serve in The Cutie Pie Cafe!!!

How cute are those pictures!! Gettin pretty good with that camera, Cami, lol. Looks like they had a blast, and we are soooooo happy they did. I love those Cuties, they just stick with something until they get it right. And they always seem to manage perfection in whatever they do. I am like Jeff, would have loved to have tasted that final batch, YUM!!! Heck, I would even have tried some of that taffy brittle. Thank you for sharing this precious event with us Cami. ALWAYS enjoy watching the girls have fun. God Bless all of you taffy pullers. Quentin

LOL!! Reminds me of my grandmother herding us into the same task! I don’t think we ever did get it right!! So Cuties, you have a good reason to be proud! If you ever get into mass production, let us know, I’ll be a regular customer! Just can’t find good taffy anymore! I agree Madeline’s expression while tackling the package is worth a million! Think I will use that as my background for a while!
Love seeing you having fun! Did you let Cami play too?
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
