The Cactus Cuties’ summer adventures continued with a booking in Grapevine, TX for the Southern Living at Home Convention. The Cuties arrived at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center on the afternoon of Saturday, July 18th. After settling in their rooms, they reported to sound-check at 5:00 pm in the Texas Ballroom. The Cuties rehearsed their two numbers, “Amazing Grace” and “The Star Spangled Banner,” and were escorted to their holding room to dress for the show. After changing clothes and applying a little hairspray, the Cuties took the stage for the performance. The show went extremely well, and the Cuties spent the rest of the evening playing in the hotel pool! The Cactus Cuties headed home on Sunday morning, thankful for another great experience on the Cutie journey!!!!!

I love seeing you all in those stunning red dresses in front of the Star Spangled Banner!! It always tugs at my heart. Glad to hear your performance was excellent as is normal. Another step on the Journey as stated! I can only imagine where that road will take you!
One observation: If there is a body of water larger than a tea cup, you gals are going to get in it! No doubt about it, you WILL get wet! I love it so!! So great to see the fun you have. Thanx for sharing the adventure!

Great pictures of the Cuties with the USA flag in the background. A perfect picture IMO! Those red dresses are beautiful and the Cuties look great in them! Thanks for sharing the pictures and story of this Cutie event with their fans.

Beautiful pictures as usual Mrs. Elbert. The girls look gorgeous as always. You girls never fail to show your patriotism in all your performances. You are one of the exceptions in the entertainment world and we really appreciate your showing our nation in a positive light in a time when patriotism is considered by many to be radical or uncool. I am so looking forward to being able to someday hear you girls sing live and in person! But until then I will continue listening and reading about the incredible adventures you all are having! Thank you very much sharing the images here on this site and the videos on YouTube. It is amazing to think of all that you have accomplished and even more inpsiring to think of what all lies ahead! Hey guys my name is Andrea. I watch your videos all the time. My favorite one has to be Star Spangled Banner, I just love your version of that. I am actually doing a singing group with my friends but it is three not four like you guys.
