The Cactus Cuties wanted to share their “Masquerade” costumes with all of their friends….enjoy!!!

The Cactus Cuties boarded a plane in Lubbock, TX on Wednesday, October 29th and set out for Dallas/Ft. Worth to perform for the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council’s Annual Awards Luncheon 2008.  The Cuties had tons of fun during the flight!!!  The Cuties were allowed to sit together for a portion of the trip and after they landed, the pilots even let the Cuties sit in the cockpit!!!  They went straight to their hotel in Arlington and had a pajama party.  The Cuties woke up early and reported to sound-check at the Arlington Convention Center.  They were so excited to have the opportunity to meet and visit with celebrity guests, Mrs. Linda Ellerbee and Mr. Ross Perot!!!  The Cactus Cuties performed The National Anthem and Aretha Franklin’s “Think” at the luncheon and then listened to Mrs. Ellerbee and Mr. and Mrs. Perot speak.  They were touched by Linda Ellerbee’s life story and were even more excited when she ended her speech with a quote from one of their favorite songs, The Secret of Life, by James Taylor.  If you haven’t heard that song, please look it up, it is truly a beautiful message.  The Cactus Cuties headed back to Lubbock later that evening, and were greatful to the nice people with the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council for inviting them to their event!!!!
